Privacy Statement
1. Is Communication Safe on the Internet?
While using discussion boards, chat rooms or emails, there is no “complete and total security” when using these methods of communication. Even though there can be great encryption programs, they can not be absolutely secure. Unfortunately, employees at any internet server company (ISP) could “barge” into and look at transmissions. This is not a common event, but it can happen. Almost all ISP providers have policies stating that their employees are not allowed to look in these areas.
2. Home and Work Computers
One of the greatest dangers of security can be your home or work computer. An employer has legal discretion to monitor any and all history and content from its computer terminals. We highly suggest you never conduct confidential and private information at work.
Also, information can be unsecure at a home computer. We highly suggest you protect your privacy by securing all confidential information. You may look to secure information by password protecting your documents as well as deleting “history”, “cookies” and or “cache” to eliminate all of your “tracks.” We suggest you take any other appropriate measures necessary to protect your privacy. If you don’t know how to do this, try to find someone who is knowledgeable with computers and have them show you how to secure your information.
3. How we use your information?
The information eTherapy Solutions collects to understand your needs and interests help us deliver a consistent and personalized experience.
Your credit card information will only be used payment processing and to prevent fraud. Your credit card information and any other sensitive information that we ask of you which is required to process a credit card payment will not be kept longer than is necessary for us to process your payment.
